Senior Show Poster

The Senior Show Poster was a class project I had as a senior at Point Loma Nazarene University. We each competed to have our poster become the ultimate brand of the 2017 Senior Show. The only constriction was to embrace being senior art and design students.

At the time, I had been inspired by old grunge posters and thought it would be fun to embrace that style. This style influenced my type and image choices. In addition, I wanted to provide a look into the different mediums that graphic design and art students might use such as, collage and photoshop. I had so much fun cutting out the title and name elements and placing them on the poster before scanning it all back into the computer. Also, the color combination symbolizes the mixed emotions that seniors feel: excitement and worry for the future.

A second part of this project was to translate our posters in postcards, which would be sent out to students and alumni.
