Bailey Cargill
Bailey Cargill, a highly strategic social media marketer, an award-winning social media producer, and a skilled graphic designer. She makes an impact on her teams through effective communication, strong attention to detail, and her dedication to establishing a supportive work environment.
Born in Southern California, she began her creative career while interning for local radio station, Local Media San Diego. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design with a marketing minor from Point Loma Nazarene University, she worked for accomplished marketing agencies in the area, Pulse Marketing and ALL MAVEN. These agencies are where she honed her creative skills and began developing her social media and project management abilities.
In 2019, Bailey accepted a social media producer job at Nickelodeon where she won awards for her creative work in social media campaigns, social media presence, and diversity and inclusion content. At Nickelodeon, Bailey worked on numerous significant television shows including, but not limited to, “All That,” “Are You Afraid Of The Dark?,” “The Crystal Maze,” “iCarly,” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” In working on these television sets, Bailey worked with many high profile entertainers to create engaging social media content for families that positively impacted brand awareness and lifetime fandom. During this time, Bailey started developing her leadership skills by training new employees and overseeing interns.
After Nickelodeon, Bailey went on to lead social media efforts at Chicago-based music start-up, Songfinch. As Songfinch’s social media manager, Bailey drove drastic social growth through data-driven strategy, creative direction, and effective social media team leadership. From large holiday giveaways and viral moments, she is extremely proud of the campaigns she helped launch, the growth that took place, and the ways she was able to contribute to the growth of Songfinch’s independent artists’ personal online metrics.
In February 2023, Bailey was hired at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as their Lead Social Media Specialist, where she uses her strengths of strategy, project management, and creative direction to lead the social media operations and manage the social media team.
She resides in Nashville, TN with her husband, Terin. They have two dogs, Ella and Kevin, and spend time enjoying all that Nashville has to offer—from the live music and great food of the city to spending time in nature, paddle boarding, hiking, and walking their dogs.
