All That

As someone who watched a lot of All That growing up, working on the reboot was a dream. The old and new cast members made my time on set super easy, which led to fun and diverse content. For All That, I wrote many scripts, captured footage, and created all the content. I have to say, this was my favorite experience during my time at Nickelodeon.

This story was based off the All That sketch “T@$#LE!GH,” where that is how the main character spells her name. Naturally, we thought it would be fun to quiz the cast to see if they can spell it. After capturing the footage, I had a lot of fun editing the footage together and adding the letter effects.

This is one of our highest performing Instagram stories for All That based off of impressions and engagements, which makes sense based off of all the celebrities tagged throughout. Polls and brackets tend to generally perform well for us too just because people love to vote for the things they love!

This Instagram Story was a fun experiment for me. We’ve never done anything like this and unfortunately, it did not “perform” too well because it didn’t have too many engaging factors outside of just blowing on the screen. While it may not have “performed” well, I am still proud of the creative because it was fun, thumb-stopping, and unique from any of the other stories we have made for the account.

Over at Nickelodeon, we love quizzing our talent to see how many Nick shows they can name. What better way to do that than with a tight time limit? This was so fun to film and then edit together with the timer.

Last year, for birthdays, we focused on quizzes. This is an example of the type of quizzes we liked to create for our All That cast members.

One of the best parts of working on the new All That, was getting to work with actors from the show I watched while growing up. I had a blast working with Kel Mitchell to film this footage that I scripted for him. I then had fun editing the footage together and creating this Instagram Story within the Instagram app.
